Opened on June 1, 2007, Bay Cafe at Birch Bay is truly recognized by our dedication to our local residents.  Retro ambiance is the theme of the Cafe' with photos and antiquities from day's past.  You may rediscover your childhood in the varied selection of candies of a childhood that many had thought were long forgotten.

We exclusively serve Seattle's Best Coffee and Espresso's, Hebrew National Hot Dogs, Ivar's Clam Chowder and Dryers Ice Cream, our Motto is we serve "Only The Best" in our offerings! We also have gluten-free menu options.

Our party room is available to hold your meetings, reunions, birthday parties or large group gatherings etc., that is included in the price of your meal! We also have a window counter available for you to access the internet by use of your laptop and our complimentary WIFI while sipping on your favorite beverage and enjoying the scenery of the bay.

The building that house's the Bay Cafe is formally the Triple XXX Root Beer Stand. Photos are both pre-1950's and the building we are in from the early 1950's.  During this time Birch Bay was considered the Coney Island of the Pacific Northwest with an amusement park next door and across the street.  If you look closely to the left of the building next to the white ticket booth, there is a ride. Our cafe is decorated with various antiques from the era of the 40s & 50s with photos and music to match. We have also added hard to find old time - retro candy to help take you back to the good old days! Remember the classic candy such as: Black Jack , Clove and Beemans Gum, Sen Sen's, Candy Cigarettes, Chic 'O Sticks, Necco Wafers, Hot Toothpicks and Gum Cigars?  We got 'em and a whole lot more!
